Pueblos Mágicos I: "The ancient traditions"
A 9 day trip for you the experience the real México. Discover the spiritual side of the small mexican "Magic towns", enjoy the ancient traditional healing techniques, passed down from the Aztec culture. You will have an English-Spanish speaking guide to talk you through the whole experience.
Day 1. Arrival to México city. (Flight not included)
Airport pick up and transfer to our hotel in the beautiful historic México city center or ' the Zocalo'.
Day 2. Day tour to Teotihuacan pyramids, one of the most amazing pyramid cities in the world.
Day 3. Departure to Puebla city, one of the five most important Spanish colonial cities in México, famous for its 365 churches, all beautifully decorated, one for each day of the year. On the way, we will stop at Cholula for a visit to the famous Cholula Pyramid (Nahuatl for "artificial mountain"), The biggest pyramid in the American continent. With a visit afterwards to the beautiful colonial town Night in Puebla.
Day 4. Departure towards Taxco, founded by Hernán Cortés, in pre-Hispanic times, this village was the most important in the area as it was the seat of the Aztec governor who presided over tribute collection in the surrounding seven districts. Famous for it´s silver work and colonial bulidings, Taxco is one of the most famous and beautiful "Pueblos mágicos" in México.
Day 5. Tour around Taxco. Night in a heritage hotel at Taxco.
Day 6. Early departure to Tepoztlán, the birthplace of Quetzalcóatl. Famous for its "Strong energy", it is a place for healing and meditation, and for its Unesco listed convent and church. The town is surrounded by strangely shaped mountains with a Toltec piramide overlooking the town which are belived are home of an astral city. Night in Tepoztlán.
Day 7. Visit to the healing waters of the mountains of Moctezuma, where the Aztec King use to bathe. They still have the old aztec steps where the King use to bathe in the miracle waters. We will have time to swim and enjoy a traditional temazcal ritual. (temazcal fee not included). Night in Tepoztlán.
Day 8. Trip back to Mexico city. Meeting with a traditional mexican healer. ( consultation fee not included). Night in México city.
Day 9. End of trip.

Includes: Airport pick up and drop. Hotel accomodation in double occupancy (shared room). Transportation around Mexico in a private van, all tours indicated in the itinerary, English speaking guide.
Does not include: Air fare to Mexico city, food, drinks, traditional massages, and temazcal saunas, or any other extra expense not indicated in the itinerary.

Meet your guides!
Konchog Tsebyab: Yoga and Philosophy teacher, he has studied Vedanta and Sanskrit as well as Hindi, Tibetan and mantra chanting. He has lived in México for many years and has conducted tours & retreats in India and México. He Speaks Spanish, English, French, Italian, Hindi and German.
Jyoti: Yoga, meditation and Philosophy teacher, she has studied Buddhism as well as Vedanta philosophy for more than 8 years. She focuses on therapeutic yoga, working parallel with energy, mind and emotion healing, bringing her students peace of mind in every practice. She is currently practicing advance meditation and mantra chanting under the guidance of her teachers.
