"Pueblos Mágicos II: "The route of the healing stones"
A 9 day trip for you to experience the route of the "Healing stones". We will take you to some of the most enchanting and beautiful magic towns or "Pueblos mágicos" around Central México. You will stay at heritage colonial hotels, visit the Fire opal and Obsidian mines used by the aztecs for healing, walk though the colourful indian markets, enjoy delicious mexican food. You will have an English-Spanish speaking guide to talk you through the whole experience.
Day 1. Arrival to México city. (Flight not included)
Airport pick up and transfer to our hotel in the beautiful historic México city center or ' the Zocalo'.
Day 2. Day tour to Tenochtitlan pyramids, one of the most amazing pyramid cities in the world.
Day 3. Departure to "Real del Monte", a beautiful and very old miner town which was once the richest in the state when gold and silver were discovered after the Spanish Conquest. We will visit the town and the old obsidian mines, considered by the Aztecs as a powerful, protective and healing Stone.

Day 4. Departure towards "Huasca de Ocampo", a small "pueblo mágico" or magical town located in the middle of the mountains, this charming Little town is famous for its elfs and fairys, but is also a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Worthy of it´s "Believe it or not" elf museum!. Night in Huasca.
Day 5. Departure towards "Tequisquiapan", a beautiful town with cobble stone streets, traditional rustic houses with small iron balconies, and carved wooden windows, which is the legacy of its 300 year heritage as a colonial town populated mostly by indigenous people. This, the climate, and the local natural water springs have made this town popular for a relaxing weekend. Night in Tequisquiapan.
Day 6. Early departure to "Peña de Bernal", a place knowned as an ancient spiritual and healing site. The "Peña" mountain is famous for its strong energy and it is said to be the location of an astral city. Visit to the Opal stones mine. Night in Bernal.
Day 7. Departure towards Guanajuato, a UNESCO Heritage city, one of the most colourful sites in Mexico, famous for its amazing underground tunnels that cover the entire city. Night in Guanajuato.
Day 8. Early departure towards "San Miguel de Allende", declared "World Heritage site" by the UNESCO, started as a small indian village, renowned for its beautiful colonial buildings alongside the ancient indian culture. Night in San miguel.
Day 9. Trip back to Mexico city, where we will spend the night.
Day 10. End of trip.

Includes: Airport pick up and drop. Hotel accomodation in double occupancy (shared room). Transportation around Mexico in a private van, all tours indicated in the itinerary, English speaking guide.

Meet your guides!
Konchog Tsebyab: Yoga and Philosophy teacher, he has studied Vedanta and Sanskrit as well as Hindi, Tibetan and mantra chanting. He has lived in México for many years and has conducted tours & retreats in India and México. He Speaks Spanish, English, French, Italian, Hindi and German.
Jyoti: Yoga, meditation and Philosophy teacher, she has studied Buddhism as well as Vedanta philosophy for more than 8 years. She focuses on therapeutic yoga, working parallel with energy, mind and emotion healing, bringing her students peace of mind in every practice. She is currently practicing advance meditation and mantra chanting under the guidance of her teachers.
